National, 10th January 2024: IIHMR University, a leading health management research university in Jaipur, is conducting a five-day Management Development Program (MDP) on “Monitoring and Evaluation: Data-Driven Decisions: Strengthening M&E Capacities for Transformative Change”. The programme running from 7th-11th January 2025, aims to equip participants with cutting-edge knowledge, tools, and methodologies essential for designing and implementing robust M&E systems. The program focuses on integrating data analytics into M&E practices, enabling participants to navigate complexities, measure program effectiveness, and drive evidence-based decisions.
The 26 participants attending the program are Monitoring and Evaluation Officials from JEEVIKA, Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society, State Rural Livelihoods Mission, Bihar. These officials are key stakeholders in implementing developmental and intervention projects aimed at enhancing rural livelihoods in the state of Bihar.

The participation of JEEVIKA officials highlights the critical role of M&E in enhancing the effectiveness of developmental initiatives. This aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, fostering a self-reliant and inclusive India by empowering grassroots-level interventions through data-driven and evidence-based decision-making.”
The program underscores the importance of integrating data analytics into M&E practices. Through a blend of interactive sessions, case studies, and experiential learning, participants will explore, key principles of monitoring and evaluation, strategies to design data-driven plans and establish performance benchmarks, frameworks to measure program effectiveness and guide evidence-based decisions, ethical considerations and innovative approaches in M&E processes.
The curriculum has been tailored to address the growing demand for professional capacity-building in M&E, especially in the era of data-driven decision-making. Participants will leave the program with the confidence and competence to design transformative M&E systems, align interventions with organizational goals, and ensure sustainable outcomes.
