Last Call for Admissions: JKLU to Close Applications for B.Des and M.Des Programmes on June 15, 2026

Jaipur, June 11: JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur, has announced that admissions for its Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Desprogrammes for the academic year 2026–27 will close on June 152026. The university is inviting aspiring designers to complete their applications before the final deadline and take advantage of its industry-oriented design education.

The B.Des programme at JKLU is a four-year undergraduate degree that focuses on design thinking, creativity, technology integration, and user-centred innovation. Designed to prepare students for the evolving demands of the creative economy, the programme combines interdisciplinary learning with practical, real-world problem-solving. Students gain exposure to contemporary design practices through studio-based projects, industry engagement, and experiential learning opportunities. Applicants must have completed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The academic fee for the programme is approximately ₹3.51 lakh per annum.

The M.Des programme is a two-year postgraduate degree aimed at graduates seeking advanced expertise in design practice, innovation, and research. The curriculum emphasizes design thinking, systems approaches, user experience, product innovation, and interdisciplinary problem-solving. Through project-based learning and industry interaction, students develop the skills required to address complex challenges and assume leadership roles in the design sector. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration in a relevant discipline and have secured 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA. The academic fee for the programme is approximately ₹3.02 lakh per annum.
