Mumbai, Sep 16: Aliens Tattoo, known for creating highly personal, contemporary tattoo art rooted in individual stories and symbolism, has unveiled its latest piece on Anaya Bangar, created by artist Tanushri Tandel – the tattoo captures a journey of self–discovery, transformation and finding a sense of wholeness.
The design centres on a striking blue eye, surrounded by petals and symmetrical upward elements. While the eye represents self-awareness and awakening, its blue colour makes the symbolism particularly personal for Anaya, it is inspired by the colour of her eyes as a child, representing her younger self and the part of her she has carried through every chapter of her life.
The surrounding petals represent rebirth and transformation, reflecting the experience of moving through a difficult chapter and emerging with a stronger sense of self. The symmetry and upward movement speak to bringing different parts of oneself together, and moving from confusion and struggle towards clarity, strength and inner peace.
Colour further builds the emotional language of the piece. Blue represents peace, spirituality, healing and freedom, while subtle touches of red represent courage, passion, life and transformation.
