Noida, Sep 16: As part of its CSR initiative, Megmeet Electrical India Pvt. Ltd., in association with Mediways Health Foundation and ClearMedi Healthcare, organised a free multi-speciality health camp at D-17, Sector 15, Noida, to promote preventive healthcare and improve access to basic health screening and specialist consultations for individuals and families. More than 300 patients were benefitted with this camp.
The health camp, held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, provided a range of free healthcare services aimed at encouraging people to undertake regular health check-ups and seek timely medical advice. The initiative focused on the theme of “Healthier Communities, Brighter Tomorrows”, with an emphasis on preventive care and community well-being.
As part of the camp, beneficiaries had access to free consultations in Gynaecology, General Physician care, Mental Health and Physiotherapy. The camp also offered basic screening services, including Random Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and BMI assessments.
In addition, participants could avail themselves of dental screening, eye screening, nutrition and diet counselling, and basic preventive screening. The organisers also facilitated free medicine distribution for eligible beneficiaries.
The camp included support services such as nursing and patient navigation, referral support, clinical triage and follow-up guidance, helping participants understand their healthcare needs and the next steps, wherever required.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. BP Singh said,
“Preventive healthcare plays an important role in enabling individuals and families to identify potential health concerns at an early stage. Community-based health camps provide an opportunity to bring basic screening, specialist consultations and healthcare guidance closer to people. Initiatives such as this can encourage individuals to become more aware of their health and make preventive care a regular part of their lives.”
The organisers highlighted that the initiative was designed to support the community by bringing together preventive screening, specialist consultations, counselling and medicine distribution under one platform. The collaboration between Megmeet Electrical India, Mediways Health Foundation and ClearMedi Healthcare reflects a shared focus on improving awareness and accessibility of healthcare services at the community level.
The health camp also encouraged participants to pay attention to routine health indicators such as blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI, while seeking professional medical advice for any concerns identified during screening.
Through such community-focused initiatives, the participating organisations aim to contribute towards creating stronger, healthier communities and a more preventive approach to healthcare.
