Thiruvananthapuram, June 5: ENDOSUMMIT 2026, the two-day national conference on Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Third Space Endoscopy (TSE) organized by KIMSHEALTH, concluded at O by Tamara. The summit, inaugurated by Dr. M. I. Sahadulla, Chairman and Managing Director, KIMSHEALTH, brought together leading gastroenterologists from across the country, who deliberated on the latest advances, innovations, and clinical applications in EUS and TSE, the two minimally invasive techniquesin modern gastroenterology.
In his inaugural address, Dr. M. I. Sahadulla said that the field of gastroenterology had witnessed remarkable advancements in recent years. He emphasized that while adopting newer technologies in endoscopy and patient care, doctors must carefully correlate technological findings with clinical assessment and remain committed to ensuring patient safety during all treatment procedures.
A major highlight of the conference was the live case demonstrations, which provided delegates an opportunity to witness real-time procedures performed by experts in the field. The academic programme featured scientific sessions and hands-on training in advanced procedures such as EUS, Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM), SpyGlass cholangioscopy, and Endostitch techniques. The summit saw the participation of nearly 50 national faculty members and over 150 delegates from different parts of the country.
