His visit is part of a series of high-level diplomatic engagements as India hosts foreign ministers from member countries under its current BRICS chairmanship.

Upon his arrival, the Ministry of External Affairs extended a warm welcome, highlighting India’s tradition of strong diplomatic ties and active participation in multilateral forums. The visit underscores Indonesia’s continued engagement with BRICS discussions on global cooperation and development priorities.

The BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting will bring together senior representatives from member countries to discuss key international and regional issues, along with ways to deepen collaboration in trade, energy, technology, and global governance.
