Mr. Pramod Pachisia, Chief Executive Officer of 2COMS, who spoke at the summit on the theme

“Building with Emerging Technologies: Opportunities for the Next Wave of Entrepreneurs,” said, “Talent sits at the very heart of growth. For Bengal, the time has come to bring that talent home. ‘Back to Bengal’ is a small but meaningful step — a signal to professionals everywhere that whether you choose to return or continue building from afar, there is a place for you in Bengal’s journey ahead.”

The “Back to Bengal” platform is designed to capture two distinct streams of interest: professionals who wish to relocate to West Bengal, and those who may not move back immediately but still want to contribute to the state’s growth story. By creating a single point of connection for both groups, 2COMS aims to encourage greater participation in the state’s evolving economy and signal the range of opportunities emerging within it.

Also speaking at the summit, BCC&I President Designate Abhijit Banerjee highlighted innovation, artificial intelligence, and clean energy as key drivers for the next phase of tech entrepreneurship. Underscoring the momentum around emerging technologies at the event, Banerjee noted that a deep-tech startup had secured Rs 4 crore in funding after receiving investor exposure at the summit.

The platform reflects 2COMS’ broader focus on connecting professionals with opportunities in West Bengal — a theme that ran through the day’s discussions on innovation and entrepreneurship at the summit.
