Shillong, May 20: A major multinational military exercise, PRAGATI 2026, has commenced in Meghalaya with participation from 12 countries, marking a significant platform for joint defence cooperation and interoperability.
The exercise brings together armed forces from multiple nations to enhance coordination, share operational best practices, and strengthen collaborative response capabilities in diverse operational environments.
Officials said the drills will focus on improving tactical coordination, joint planning, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) preparedness among participating forces.
The exercise underscores growing international defence engagement and reflects efforts to strengthen regional security cooperation through structured military collaboration.
