May 11: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that the VB-G RAM G Act will be implemented from July 1, ensuring up to 125 days of guaranteed rural employment.
Speaking on the initiative, he said the scheme is aimed at strengthening livelihood security in rural areas by expanding job opportunities beyond the existing framework. The move is expected to benefit rural workers by providing additional days of wage employment and improving income stability.
The announcement was made as part of the government’s broader focus on enhancing rural development and employment generation across the country.
