School of Fashion Designing of Sanskriti University organized an insightful Webinar for Fashion Designing students on Theme Designing. The aim of the webinar was to motivate the students to choose a creative path in their life and become a leader of their own skills. Sonam Sonkar, Training Officer (National Skill Training Institute for Women) was the Key speaker of the webinar. During the webinar Sanskriti university Chancellor Sachin Gupta, Vice Chancellor Rana Singh were also present along with several faculty members.
While interacting with students, Sonam Sonkar said “Designing is important when you want to launch your design in the market whether as an entrepreneur, designer, teacher or Fresh graduates. Theming is a process of designing and constructing an object or space so that “the particular subject or idea on which the style of something is based.”
She also discussed in detail about the types of boards required in Theming, Inspiration, Mood, Color, Swatch, Story, Client and Design Board. Boards allow you to collect thoughts, colours, and ideas etc. from places one visits. The visual representation is a constant motivator and helps in piecing together a gleam of an idea into a full-fledged collection. She also informed the students about the exponentially growing career opportunities in the field of designing.
Sonam Sonkar urged the students to utilize their time to develop the new skills to sustain in a highly competitive Industry. The session was highly appreciated by the students and faculty members.
