The event served as a significant platform for promoting the state’s diverse tourism offerings, further enhancing its visibility in the southern travel market.

The Karnataka delegation was led by Dr. Rajendra KV, IAS, Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, Mr. Pampapathi, Manager, Jungle Ledges & Resorts, and Mr. Lokesh, Assistant Manager, Jungle Lodges & Resorts. The pavilion showcased the rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and unique experiences that Karnataka has to offer. The Karnataka stall attracted a considerable number of visitors, including prominent figures such as the Kerala Tourism Minister, Mr. P. A. Mohamed Riyaz, and the Principal Secretary to the Government of Kerala, Industries Department Mr. A P M Mohammed Hanish IAS. Their presence underscored the importance of inter-state collaboration in promoting tourism.

Karnataka’s participation at KTM 2024 highlighted a variety of tourism products, including its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, wildlife sanctuaries, and vibrant festivals. Visitors were particularly captivated by the state’s diverse offerings, from the historic ruins of Hampi and the serene beaches of Gokarna to the lush greenery of Coorg and the cultural richness of Mysuru.

Karnataka showcases a wide range of tourism opportunities, enabling visitors to fully engage with the state’s distinctive experiences.
