PRSI Hyderabad Chapter Connects Students to International Dialogue at Virtual Conference

September 03, 2025: ​The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) and the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), Delhi, recently hosted the first-ever Indo-Russian PR and Media Virtual Conference, a landmark event fostering dialogue between Indian and Russian communication leaders. The conference brought together top experts and students to explore critical topics shaping the global media landscape.

Speakers from both nations—including Andrey Lapshov, Chairman of the Russian Association of Communication Consultancies, and Dr. Samir Kapoor, Director of Adfactors Public Relations—shared insights on topics like brand diplomacy, crisis communication, and the impact of artificial intelligence on PR. A central focus was on building business and media ties between India and Russia and navigating challenges during international conflicts.

​The event, part of PRSI’s Nalanda Students Initiative, provided a unique opportunity for students from several Hyderabad colleges to engage directly with industry leaders. Attendees from institutions like St. Francis College, ST.MARY’S College. Little Flower Degree College, Government Degree College, St.Pious Degree College, St.Joseph’s College appreciated the Public Relations Society of India Hyderabad Chapter for providing such a valuable platform for professional exchange and learning. This successful collaboration underscores the power of a clear vision to connect people and ideas across borders.

Public Relations Society of Hyderabad Chapter signed MoU with 11 colleges that has Mass Communication and Journalism courses to provide special lectures and masterclasses to prepare the students for the relevant jobs. PRSI also facilitates internships opportunities and jobs with companies and agencies.

Congratulating PRSI for successfully conducting the first-ever Indo-Russian PR and Media virtual meet Dr.Parveen Sultana, Assy.Professor of Government Degree College said “It’s highly appreciated and commendable.
