MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., October 27, 2025 — Two newly remodeled locations in Myrtle Beach will be unveiled next week at a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and FREE Car Wash Celebration. Join ZIPS and the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce on October 28th at 2pm at ZIPS Car Wash, 2089 US-501 for the ceremony. Free Car Washes will be offered all day on the 28th at both the ZIPS on US-501 and 593 International Dr., and free Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee will kick off the Ribbon Cutting and be available from 1pm – 3pm at the US-501 location near Home Goods on Tuesday.
Pete Nani, CEO of ZIPS Car Wash, stated that the Myrtle Beach market remains a key focus for the organization’s ongoing improvement efforts. The company aims to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality through site improvements, comprehensive employee training, and continued reinvestment in the region. “We’re excited to offer a whole new look at these two stores as well as improvements at all our Myrtle Beach locations. At Tuesday’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, ZIPS will recognize a local military family with a $500 academic scholarship through its national partnership with Folds of Honor. Ally Murphy, a Junior at Coastal Carolina University, and her family will be honored at the event. Ally is majoring in Sustainability and Coastal Resilience. Her father, Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeffrey Robert Kwasniewski of the US Navy, served our country for eight years and was disabled in the line of duty.
