BeyondTrust Expands Identity Security Insights to India to Address Rising AI and Non-Human Identity Risks

May 12: BeyondTrust, the global leader in privilege-centric identity security protecting Paths to Privilege™, has announced the strategic geographical expansion of BeyondTrust Identity Security Insights® to India.

The expansion introduces a locally hosted, secure, and compliant identity security solution designed to help organisations meet regional operational and regulatory requirements while tackling growing cybersecurity risks linked to the rapid rise of non-human identities and agentic AI.

As AI-driven automation and machine identities continue to expand across enterprises, organisations are under increasing pressure to maintain visibility, governance, and control over identity ecosystems.

“In high-growth markets like India, organisations are rapidly embracing AI and automation but often without a clear line of sight into the non-human identities driving that innovation,” said Murali Urs. “Without that visibility, it becomes difficult to enforce least privilege and control risk before it scales. The ability to understand and secure these identities is quickly becoming foundational to sustaining innovation safely.”

The India expansion aligns with evolving regional compliance requirements, including frameworks such as the Securities and Exchange Board of India Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience Framework (CSCRF), which emphasizes strong access controls, data protection, and continuous monitoring to reduce cyber risk.

BeyondTrust Identity Security Insights connects core Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities with emerging identity security requirements, offering enhanced visibility across human and non-human identities. Key capabilities include large-scale discovery of non-human identities and secrets across multi-cloud environments, autonomous risk detection and prioritisation, and specialized monitoring for agentic AI systems to ensure secure and compliant operations.

The solution is part of the BeyondTrust Pathfinder Platform, which unifies identity discovery, intelligence, and control across hybrid, cloud, SaaS, and operational technology (OT) environments. The platform enables organisations to enforce least privilege, remediate identity-related risks, and strengthen security governance across human, non-human, and AI identities through a single integrated platform.

BeyondTrust also announced that its free Identity Security Risk Assessment has been expanded to provide organisations with immediate visibility into agentic AI-related risks and identity vulnerabilities.
