Guwahati, June 16: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is intensifying efforts to introduce electric train services between Tripura and Assam in the near future, marking a significant step toward greener and more efficient rail connectivity in the region.
Officials stated that ongoing electrification work and infrastructure upgrades across key routes are progressing steadily, with the objective of enabling seamless electric train operations.
