New Delhi, April 04, 2025: Divine Power Energy Limited (DPEL), a leading manufacturer of insulated wires and strips, announces the successful completion of its 100% acquisition of Vimlesh Industries Private Limited (VIPL). With this transaction VIPL officially becomes a wholly owned subsidiary company of DPEL, marking a landmark development in its strategic growth plan.
Following its stellar debut on NSE Emerge in July last year, DPEL entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% stake in Vimlesh Industries Private Limited at a total valuation of ₹70 crore in November 2024.
This acquisition marks a significant milestone for DPEL as it integrates VIPL’s capabilities, resources, and expertise to enhance its operational efficiencies and expand its market reach. The move aligns with DPEL’s long-term vision to deliver high-quality products, create greater value for its stakeholders and lead to a big customer base and higher reach in the industry for the company, which shall be beneficial for the stakeholders.

Vimlesh Industries Private Limited was established in the year 1986 with a vision to serve the Automative Industry, Motors, lifting magnets, rectifiers, inverters industry etc. with the insulated aluminium and copper wires and strips. The company exports its products to various countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. It has a fully equipped inhouse testing lab, and R&D workshop.
VIPL supplies its UL approved enamelled wires and strips of copper and aluminium to automotive industry, motors, lifting magnets, rectifiers, inverters, and transformers etc. The company has approvals and it supplies the products to Indian Railways, BHEL, PGCIL, ABB, Schneider, Panasonic, Legrand and many other corporates and PSUs, which will be a key advantage for DPEL in its growth strategy.
DPEL manufactures copper and aluminium wires/strips insulated with paper, crepe paper, and fiberglass and supplies them to discoms and transformer manufacturers. As a result of a recent acquisition, the company has elected to augment its business activities by establishing in-house manufacturing capabilities for super enamelled wires and strips, in addition to its existing trading operations, which are commonly used in the assembly and repair of transformers. It has a significant presence in North India, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, and Bihar.
Divine Power Energy Limited operates a cutting-edge manufacturing plant with an installed capacity of 300 metric tonnes of aluminium and 500 metric tonnes of copper per month. The plant is strategically located in Ghaziabad and has sufficient storage facility for holding inventories of raw materials as well as finished products, ensuring stability of operations. It supplies products to reputed clients such as TATA Power Limited, BSES, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, and Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited. It sources its raw material from reliable and prominent suppliers such as Birla Copper, Hindalco Aluminium and NALCO.
