Mumbai, June 01: JITO Incubation & Innovation Foundation (JIIF), the startup incubation and angel investment arm of Jain International Trade Organisation, has concluded its Cohort 14 Bootcamp in Mumbai, bringing together more than 80 early-stage founders at a time when India’s startup support ecosystem is seeing heightened activity from global accelerators.
JIIF said it has incubated more than 70 startups and facilitated investments exceeding ₹275 crore across 114 companies since inception. The organisation is also registered under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) and works with the Maharashtra State Innovation Society.
The bootcamp comes amid growing international interest in India’s startup market, with accelerators such as Y Combinator expanding focus on Indian founders. Against this backdrop, JIIF is positioning itself as a community-led, mentorship-driven platform aimed at supporting founders beyond capital access.
The programme featured sessions focused on brand building, sustainable growth, and fundraising preparedness. Bharat Oswal spoke on startup storytelling and brand positioning, while Sachin Oswal addressed founders on building sustainable businesses with stronger unit economics. Apoorv Gautam shared insights on investor expectations, fundraising strategy, and pitch readiness.
“India’s startup ecosystem is witnessing strong entrepreneurial momentum, but founders today need much more than capital,” said Jeenendra Bhandari, Chairman of JIIF. “Our focus through the Cohort 14 Bootcamp was to equip founders with mentorship, strategic direction, and ecosystem access that can help them build resilient businesses over the long term.”
The latest cohort includes startups operating across sectors such as robotics, mobility, sustainability, and international education.
Among the ventures, MIVA Robotics is developing an operating system integrating robotics, drones, analytics, and automation tools for MSMEs, while HOOK is building e-bicycle conversion technology targeted at the quick commerce and food delivery ecosystem. Green Mentor focuses on ESG and sustainability talent development, and KAONEDU Expert provides international education support services for Indian students exploring overseas opportunities.
“We are not building JIIF to compete with global accelerators,” Bhandari added. “We are building it to complement India’s startup journey with patient capital, mentorship, and long-term community support.”
