Since opening its gates in October 2005, the park has grown from welcoming about 3.5 lakh visitors in its first year to hosting over 1.82 crore visitors contributing an impressive 40% of Wonderla’s total revenue and total footfalls.

This milestone celebration honors not just the park’s commercial success, but its pioneering role in shaping India’s amusement park industry.

Pioneering Integrated Leisure in India

In 2012, Wonderla Bengaluru made history becoming India’s first amusement park to house a resort within its premises. This vision has now evolved further with the newest addition of The Isle by Wonderla. Spanning across 4.5 acres, The Isle is a luxury aqua-retreat that features 39 bespoke units with an eco-luxury staycation experience from luxury cottages and glamping tents to pet-friendly zones and wellness retreats, perfectly aligned with Bengaluru’s growing appetite for nature-driven, immersive experiences

Where Innovation Meets Emotion

Wonderla Bengaluru has constantly reinvented entertainment, from launching Recoil, India’s first reverse looping roller coaster, to immersive experiences like Mission Interstellar, India’s largest space-themed LED screen flying theater. Behind these unforgettable experiences stands a dream team of in-house engineers led by Mr Arun Chittilappilly, who have designed and built approximately 30 rides, currently managing 188 rides across all Wonderla parks. 20 Years of Setting Standards

Built on engineering excellence, Wonderla Bengaluru pioneered safety protocols, becoming India’s first amusement park to obtain ISO certifications for environment, and health & safety. We import rides adhering to European standards EN 13814. Its comprehensive safety framework includes layered preventive maintenance and periodic in-service inspections by TUV (Technischer Überwachungsverein). All ride water undergoes multi-stage RO and filtration (IS 3328 standards), while the park’s zero waste water discharge system exemplifies its commitment to sustainability.

Located just 28km from Bengaluru city, Wonderla has been a steady contributor to employment, tourism, and local business ecosystems in and around Bidadi. Through its extensive CSR initiatives, the park has supported over 800 students across 18 government schools, constructed community infrastructure and championed environmental programs demonstrating that true success lies in shared progress.
