Mumbai, Aug17: Electromech Infraprojects Ltd., a construction technology platform specialising in mission-critical, industrial and digital infrastructure, has appointed Adnan Ansari as AVP – Data Centre Solutions and Growth. With around ten years of overall experience, including eight years dedicated to data centres across data centre and electrical construction projects, Adnan will strengthen Electromech’s data centre business, with a mandate spanning business development, estimation, client engagement and organisational growth.

Adnan’s appointment comes as Electromech continues to expand its capabilities in the data centre segment and build for the next phase of digital infrastructure growth in India and international markets. In his new role, he will work closely with customers across pre-sales and technical requirements, commercial discussions and project estimation, while also supporting the development of processes and capabilities required to scale the business.
Over the course of his career, Adnan has worked across Daanish Electricals & Sales Private Limited as a Site Engineer, Listenlights Pvt. Ltd. as a Project Engineer, JLL as an Assistant Project Lead, and NTT Global Data Centers as a Specialist in Construction Projects. His experience spans the entire data centre project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement to execution, commissioning, and customer relationship management, enabling him to bring a balanced and comprehensive perspective to the role.
Commenting on his appointment, Adnan Ansari, AVP – Data Centre Solutions and Growth, Electromech Infraprojects, said:
“India’s data centre sector is entering a period of significant growth, but the opportunity will increasingly depend on how effectively the industry can execute increasingly complex projects. AI is also changing the infrastructure requirements of data centres, with higher rack densities and greater adoption of advanced cooling technologies. At Electromech, I look forward to strengthening our data centre business, building scalable processes and working closely with customers to support the delivery of future-ready digital infrastructure. I am also excited to contribute to the company’s expansion across India and the GCC.”
As AI and cloud adoption accelerate, data centre infrastructure is becoming increasingly complex, with higher power densities and evolving cooling requirements placing greater demands on engineering and execution capabilities. This is creating a stronger need for integrated expertise across electrical infrastructure, cooling, project planning and delivery.
Adnan will also contribute to Electromech’s growing focus on the GCC data centre market, including business development and bidding opportunities alongside the company’s UAE team. His mandate will support Electromech’s efforts to build a stronger presence in international markets while expanding its capabilities for increasingly complex digital infrastructure projects.
The appointment also comes as Electromech focuses on building the organisational capabilities required to support its growth trajectory. The company is targeting an approximately 50-60x jump in revenue by 2030, with process strengthening and scalable operating systems expected to play an important role in this journey.
