Industry Leaders Emphasize the Need to Integrate AI with the Human Touch at CEO & CHRO Leadership Forum & Awards 2026, Amity University

Aug 26: Amity International Business School, Amity University Noida Campus, organized the CEO & CHRO Leadership Forum and Awards 2026, with the objective of strengthening and deepening academia–industry engagement through meaningful dialogue with senior corporate leaders and key industry stakeholders. The forum brought together senior corporate leaders, academicians and institutional leadership to facilitate meaningful conversations on emerging industry trends, talent expectations, leadership, innovation, and the evolving landscape of higher education and employability.

Welcoming the distinguished guests on the occasion, Dr. Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities, said,

“At Amity, students analyse various case studies to understand how marketing has evolved and how technology is being integrated across all management programmes at Amity. Amity has also implemented the National Education Policy 2020, and students are provided adequate industry exposure to make them future-ready professionals. The forum will help strengthen and deepen collaboration between industry and academia through sustained engagement with leading organisations and senior corporate leaders. It will also revitalise relationships with existing corporate partners, while creating opportunities for new strategic partnerships.”

During the CEO Forum & Leadership Awards-2026, a Panel Discussion on the theme, “The New Leadership Equation: Driving Growth through People, Purpose & AI”, moderated by Dr. Gurinder Singh, was held, comprising of esteemed industry leaders, including Mr. Sunil D’Souza, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Tata Consumer Products; Mr. Raul Rebello, MD & CEO, Mahindra Finance; Mr. Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Cars India; Mr. Nitin Razdan, Partner, Deloitte; and Mr. Dinesh Luthra and Mr. Muskaan Singh, Senior Executive Vice Presidents, HDFC Bank.

Sharing his views during the panel discussion, Mr. Raul Rebello, MD & CEO, Mahindra Finance, said, “Technology enables people; however, a machine cannot invoke trust. People bring empathy and values, which cannot be outsourced. AI is powerful, but it should be used responsibly.”

Mr. Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Cars India, averred,

“People are at the centre of our organisation, and personal touch is very important. Technology is an enabler and Volvo is committed to offering the best customer experience, with the help of technology. Safety, sustainability and meeting the requirements of customers are extremely important for us.”

Mr. Nitin Razdan, Partner, Deloitte, stated,

 “Technology is at the centre of our company. However, it is always about combining technology with the human touch. AI opens tremendous opportunities for us; however, there is a difference between intelligence and wisdom, and technology should be used wisely by human beings.”

Deliberating upon the topic, Mr. Dinesh Luthra, Senior Executive Vice President, HDFC Bank, opined, “At banks, transactions can be digital, but relationships cannot be digital. It is the collaboration between technology and human beings that works best for corporates.”

Mr. Sunil D’Souza, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Tata Consumer Products, stated that AI is going to impact different industries differently. He emphasized that while AI creates value, ultimately, it is about creating a competitive advantage.

During the CHRO Leadership Forum & Awards 2026, a Panel Discussion on the theme, “People, Purpose & Possibilities: Reimagining Human Capital in the Age of AI” was organized, wherein Shri Ayush Gupta, Director, GAIL  Limited, Colonel Tarun Vohra, Vice President & CHRO, Lumax Industries Limited, Ms. Romita Bhardwaj, Director- Head HR India, Wipro Technologies, Mr. Roopank Chaudhary, Partner and Country Head – Talent and Rewards Consulting, Aon and Ms Suman Gopalan, Managing Partner, Rivendell Advisory, participated as Panelists and shared their views.

In addition, distinguished industry leaders were felicitated for their excellence and contribution across various sectors. Mr. Ayush Gupta, Director , GAIL  Limited was presented with “The Visionary Award for Strategic Human Capital Leadership”, Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel)Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, was presented “The Distinguished Excellence in People Stewardship Award”, “The Consumer Business Strategist Award” was conferred upon Mr. Sunil D’Souza, MD & CEO, Tata Consumer Products. “The Beverage Industry Excellence Award” was presented to Mr. Varun Jaipuria, MD, RJ Corp, Mr. Nitin Razdan, Partner, Deloitte, was honoured with “The Human Capital Advisory Award”, amongst others.
