Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences, Gr. Noida has successfully conducted mega vaccination drive in Minda Corporation Limited(MCL), Noida in Collaboration with Jaypee Hospital, Noida. The jabs were given from 9:30 am to 6 pm and around 600 employees were vaccinated. The drive was started with a physically handicapped employee of the MCL, during the vaccination drive we NIIMS Hospital established a mini ICU (critical care facility) at the site of vaccination in view of expected and unexpected adverse events, as anaphylaxis can happen to any one. AEFI monitoring protocols were followed.
Before the vaccination drive, Prof. Dr Rajesh Ranjan, Chief Operating Officer briefed the gathering on Covid-19 as well as benefits of vaccination. Employees were very happy and motivated after listening the health talk.
After registration on the Cowin portal, vitals were checked and jabs were given, once they were found normal. After vaccination everyone waited in the post-vaccination waiting area for 30 min.
Vaccinated employees were very happy after getting the first dose of vaccination (Covishield) without any hurdle. Selfie booths were installed where employees were taking selfies with their loved ones. We will be vaccinating at other sites in Haryana and Uttarakhand too. This drive was done with support from both Minda’s and Jaypee Hospital. we hope to continue serving the Corporates and RWs of Noida with more such camps in future.
