This World Heart Day, PharmEasy Says “Don’t Miss a Beat” With Its CPR Song Campaign

Mumbai, 29th September 2026: On the occasion of World Heart Day, PharmEasy, one of India’s leading healthcare platforms, has launched a CPR song as part of a week-long social media campaign developed in collaboration with Dr Jivitesh Satija, DM Cardiology, Interventional Cardiologist, to bring CPR awareness to life through a cardiologist-led song tutorial. Moving away from conventional medical explainers, the campaign uses music, rhythm and simple demonstrations to make the fundamentals of CPR easier to understand and remember.

At the centre of the campaign is Dr Jivitesh Satija, who demonstrates the basic steps of CPR using a pillow, while explaining each action through an easy-to-follow song. From checking whether a person is responsive and calling for help to performing chest compressions, the tutorial breaks down the process into simple and memorable steps.

Built around the thought, “Don’t miss a beat. CPR is a simple 3-step routine: pump, release, repeat,” the campaign aims to make CPR awareness more accessible and relatable, particularly for younger digital audiences. The reel concludes with a simple reminder that knowing the basics of CPR can help a person respond during a cardiac emergency.

Commenting on the campaign, Gaurav Verma, Chief Business Officer, PharmEasy, said, “In a cardiac emergency, knowing what to do can make a critical difference, yet CPR is something many people may never have learned or feel confident performing. With this campaign, we wanted to make CPR easier to understand, more relatable and, most importantly, easier to remember when it matters. By combining expert guidance from a cardiologist with music and a format familiar to younger audiences, we hope to take CPR beyond awareness and encourage more people to learn this essential skill and feel ready to act in an emergency.”

Through this campaign, PharmEasy aims to reinforce a simple message on World Heart Day: heart health is not only about prevention, but also about being prepared to respond when an emergency occurs.
