Mira Road, May 12: Wockhardt Hospitals commemorated International Nurses Day with a week-long series of engagements across its facilities in Mira Road, Mumbai Central, Rajkot, and Nagpur, recognising the dedication, compassion, and clinical excellence of its nursing workforce. Marking the occasion, Wockhardt Hospitals also announced the launch of its Employee Assistance Program (EAP), aimed at fostering psychologically safe workplaces and strengthening employee well-being through structured support systems, including critical incident and stress management, along with ongoing awareness initiatives.
Aligned with the International Nurses Day 2026 theme, “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives,” the initiative underscored the organisation’s focus on strengthening nursing capabilities through continuous learning, structured recognition, and a supportive work ecosystem.
More than 950 nurses participated in a range of thoughtfully designed activities aimed at fostering collaboration, encouraging innovation, and enhancing overall well-being.
The celebrations began with a unifying ceremony where nurses collectively sang the Wockhardt Anthem and reaffirmed their commitment through the Nursing Pledge—reflecting their shared responsibility towards patient-centric care. Senior nursing leaders were felicitated for their leadership and sustained contributions to clinical excellence.
The week-long programme featured multiple engagement-driven initiatives, including:
