“Bikashara Dhara, Odisha Sara” Programme Held in Nabarangpur Showcasing Government Achievements and Development Initiatives

Nabarangpur, June 22 {UDN}: On the occasion of the completion of 12 years of the Central Government and 2 years of the State Government, the “Bikashara Dhara, Odisha Sara” (The Flow of Development Across Odisha) program is being organized in Nabarangpur district. As part of the event, a press conference was held at the Ashok Mehta Conference Hall located within the District Collector’s office premises.

Addressing the gathering, the School and Mass Education Minister highlighted the developmental initiatives undertaken by the state government and outlined its future plans. He stated that significant progress has been achieved in Nabarangpur district over the past few years in the fields of education, healthcare, rural infrastructure, drinking water supply, agriculture, and public welfare.

The Minister described several ongoing projects as major achievements of the government, including railway line construction, the Bharatmala project, expansion of national highways, construction of bypass roads, development of smart parks, and various eco-tourism projects.

In the education sector, he noted that the district has 23 PM SHRI Schools, 22 Godabarish Adarsha Vidyalayas, and Eklavya Model Residential Schools. He also mentioned initiatives such as the “Madho Singh Pocket Money Scheme,” aimed at reducing student dropout rates.

The Minister emphasized that the vision of a developed Odisha can be realized through active public participation and effective administrative coordination.
The press conference was attended by the Chairman of the District Planning Committee, the District Collector, the Superintendent of Police, and several other senior officials.
