New Delhi, May 22: The Government of India has announced a nationwide public outreach programme to mark 12 years of governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting progress across key areas including welfare delivery, infrastructure development, economic reforms, governance, and national security.
The coordinated campaign will involve Union Ministers, Members of Parliament, Chief Ministers and senior representatives engaging with citizens through press briefings, public meetings, beneficiary interactions and district-level programmes across the country.
Officials said the initiative has been designed to present a comprehensive view of governance outcomes over the past 12 years, with a focus on implementation of flagship schemes and expanded access to public services.
The outreach will be structured around five key thematic pillars.
The first pillar focuses on welfare delivery, covering initiatives aimed at supporting economically weaker sections, farmers, middle-class households and improving healthcare access through expanded public schemes and service networks.
The second pillar highlights empowerment and inclusion, with emphasis on women’s participation, youth opportunities, farmer welfare and support for marginalised communities.
The third pillar focuses on nation-building priorities, including infrastructure expansion, economic growth, digital transformation, ease of living reforms, science and technology advancement, and development initiatives in the North-Eastern states.
The fourth pillar addresses national security and strategic governance, including internal security measures, counter-terrorism efforts, and foreign policy engagement.
The fifth pillar highlights cultural heritage and sustainability, focusing on conservation of India’s cultural identity, environmental protection and wildlife preservation alongside development efforts.
According to officials, the campaign will feature data-backed presentations, case studies and on-ground feedback mechanisms to reflect implementation progress and citizen experience.
The outreach programme will also leverage digital platforms and community-level interactions to broaden engagement and ensure wider public participation in communicating governance outcomes over the past 12 years.
