Jakson Infra Bags Landmark Power Distribution Project in Angola

New Delhi, April 29: Jakson Infra, a leading infrastructure EPC company, has secured a landmark power distribution project from the Ministry of Energy and Water Angola under the Electricity Sector Improvement and Access Project (ESIAP), supported by the World Bank. The project is valued at US$ 62.22 million.

The contract encompasses design, supply, installation, and commissioning for the rehabilitation of power distribution networks in Luanda, aimed at enhancing electricity reliability and expanding access across the capital city.

Project Scope and Impact

The project involves end-to-end execution, including:

  • Engineering and procurement
  • Installation and commissioning of distribution systems
  • Modernisation of existing infrastructure

This initiative forms part of Angola’s broader efforts to strengthen energy infrastructure, improve power reliability, and expand electricity access.
