Wave City launches advanced integrated command & control center to enhance security and urban services

April 13: India’s first privately owned smart city, Wave City announced the launch of ICCC, a centralized digital backbone designed to enable real-time monitoring, efficient governance, and seamless management of smart city services. The ICCC reinforces Wave City’s vision of building a future-ready, secure, and resident-centric urban ecosystem.

Wave City launches advanced integrated command & control center to enhance security and urban services

This facility is spread across 16,000 sq. ft. and at its core lies a centralized CCTV surveillance system that provides real-time monitoring throughout Wave City. In addition, the Command Center functions as a central facility office, offering residents a single-point interface for services and support. This integrated setup enhances operational efficiency, strengthens response capabilities, and ensures quicker resolution of resident needs.

Speaking about the launch, C J Singh, COO, Wave City said,

“The launch of the Integrated Command & Control Centre represents a major milestone in Wave City’s vision of creating a truly smart and future-ready township. By harnessing advanced technologies and real-time data integration, it not only drives greater operational efficiency but also fosters a safer, more responsive environment for residents”.

At Wave City, the ICCC has installed two active Video Walls (LED screens) using COB technology one dedicated to smart city services and the other to security and surveillance. Each screen measures approximately 23ft x8.8 ft. The implementation of the ICCC delivers multiple benefits to the township including Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) services, intrusion detection, crowd monitoring, left or missing object detection and attribute-based search capabilities.

Beyond its role in security, the command center serves as the nerve center for managing citywide services such as electricity distribution, street lighting, Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs). Any outage or disruption is immediately detected, recorded, and routed to the appropriate teams for swift resolution. This integrated system ensures uninterrupted operation of critical urban infrastructure and greatly improves the overall quality of life for residents.
