Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Inaugurates First World Yogasana Championship

New Delhi, May 26: Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya has inaugurated the inaugural World Yogasana Championship, marking a milestone in the formal promotion of Yogasana as a competitive sport on the global stage.

The event is designed to provide an international platform for Yogasana practitioners and encourage wider participation from athletes across countries. Officials said the initiative aims to blend India’s traditional wellness practices with modern sporting formats.
