Akbartravels.com has announced the launch of their new initiative Super Saver Wednesdays, which offers Zero Convenience Fee to the customers. Every Wednesday customers can book, reissue, cancel tickets or add luggage and change seats without going through the hassle of paying a convenience fee.

The convenience fee is the charge is levied by the channel that allows you to pay for a product or service using its platform or payment mode. Most domestic airlines charge a non-refundable convenience fee ranging from Rs. 250 to Rs.450, on an average, for online booking of tickets. Each OTA (Online Travel Agent) has different slab rates for internet banking and card transactions.

Speaking on the occasion, Jitesh Poojari, Head Marketing, Akbartravels.com said, “While the government is promoting Digital India and Cashless economy, we as service providers need to incentivise the use of websites/apps and discounts are the best way to encourage customers to start using a platform. Once the customer experiences ease of making their bookings/transactions they develop trust and affinity towards the brand. “

Since it was launched Akbartravels.com had witnessed a 60% increase in sales on Wednesdays.
