Ganesh Green Bharat Secures 1,000 MWh BESS Order from NTPC REL

Ahmedabad/Mumbai, June 3 : Ganesh Green Bharat Limited , a  renewable energy and infrastructure company, has secured a significant 1,000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System  EPC project order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited , further strengthening its position in India’s rapidly evolving energy storage sector.

The milestone comes amid a period of strong business growth for the company. Ganesh Green reported revenue of INR 1,064.26 crore in FY26, registering significant growth from INR 321.76 crore in FY25, while Profit After Tax  increased to INR 75.18 crore from  INR 30.22 crore during the same period. The company currently maintains an order book of approximately  INR 2,212 crore, providing strong visibility for future growth and reflecting sustained market confidence in its capabilities.

Under the project, the Battery Energy Storage System will be supplied by Ganesh Green Bharat Limited itself, demonstrating the company’s integrated capabilities across manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and project execution. The order marks a significant step in the company’s strategic expansion into energy storage, a segment that is expected to play a critical role in enabling India’s clean energy transition.

Battery Energy Storage Systems are increasingly becoming essential for integrating renewable energy into the grid, enhancing reliability, managing peak demand, and ensuring round-the-clock power availability. As India accelerates its renewable energy deployment, energy storage is expected to emerge as a key pillar of the country’s energy infrastructure.
