InnoVision Marketing Group Recognized by City and County Leaders for Role in Native American Heritage Festival Celebrating Indigenous and Tribal Communities
City of Escondido, City of San Marcos and San Diego County District 5 honor contributions to historic inaugural event
ESCONDIDO, CA — October 22, 2025 — In recognition of their leadership and dedication to uplifting Native, Indigenous and Tribal communities, InnoVision Marketing Group and its CEO, Ric Militi, were presented with awards from the City of Escondido, the City of San Marcos and San Diego County District 5 during the inaugural Native American Heritage Festival on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The awards were presented by Escondido Mayor Dane White, San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones and representatives from San Diego County District 5, honoring the key organizations and individuals who made the historic festival possible, including the Native Youth Foundation, the host of the event.
“For over two decades, I’ve had the honor of working alongside Native American communities, and this recognition means the world to me,” said Ric Militi, CEO and Executive Creative Director at InnoVision Marketing Group. “The Native American Heritage Festival isn’t just an event — it’s a celebration of identity, tradition and unity. I’m grateful to have played a role in helping bring this vision to life and proud to stand with the Native Youth Foundation in making sure these stories and voices continue to be seen and heard. We’re already looking ahead to next year and are committed to making it even bigger and better.”
The Native American Heritage Festival, created and organized by the Native Youth Foundation, brought together hundreds of attendees for a powerful celebration of Native traditions, artistry and storytelling across Southern California. The free, family-friendly event featured live music and dance performances, cultural demonstrations, artisan vendors and educational activities, all designed to highlight and honor the rich heritage and contributions of Native, Indigenous and Tribal communities.
“From the very beginning, this event was about creating a space where our Tribal communities could be celebrated and seen,” said Johnny Hughes, founder of the Native Youth Foundation. “The support from partners like InnoVision Marketing Group made that vision possible, and we’re grateful to see their dedication recognized.”
The recognition of InnoVision Marketing Group and Ric Militi underscores the festival’s broader impact: a powerful collaboration between community organizations and creative partners working together to honor Native and Indigenous heritage, ensuring that this celebration becomes an annual tradition in North County San Diego.
