Jamf Launches High-Compliance Cloud Environment for India

Bangalore , May 20 : Jamf, a leader in Apple device management and security solutions, today announced plans to launch a dedicated high-compliance cloud environment in India, hosted within AWS’s India region and targeted for customer availability in 2027. The initiative is designed to help Indian organizations address data residency and regulatory requirements under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, particularly in highly regulated sectors such as financial services.

Jamf is collaborating with TechnoBind, its strategic distribution partner in India, to expand Apple-first management and security capabilities across the country. The partnership aims to support enterprises in securely scaling Apple adoption while navigating evolving compliance standards.

The new environment will align with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 standards and mirror the architecture of Jamf’s existing High Compliance Cloud in the United States. At launch, the platform will include Jamf Pro with Blueprints and Compliance Benchmarks, with additional capabilities planned in the future. Jamf’s Compliance Benchmarks capability also supports accountability obligations under SEBI’s Cloud Framework.

“India is one of the fastest-growing enterprise Apple markets globally, and organizations require infrastructure that supports both robust security and local compliance requirements,” said Henry Patel. “By hosting customer data within India and leveraging our proven high-compliance architecture, we are providing organizations with a trusted foundation for managing and securing Apple devices at scale.”

The India-based environment will be hosted entirely within AWS infrastructure located in the country, helping ensure customer data remains within national boundaries. This move addresses increasing regulatory scrutiny around data management and cross-border data flows under India’s DPDP framework.

Apple adoption across India’s enterprise ecosystem continues to grow rapidly, particularly in sectors such as financial services, technology, and professional services. As deployments expand, organizations are increasingly seeking security and management solutions specifically designed for Apple environments.

Through its partnership with TechnoBind, Jamf aims to strengthen its regional presence by leveraging local expertise, enterprise relationships, and channel engagement capabilities.

“As enterprises across India continue adopting Apple devices, there is rising demand for solutions that combine security, compliance, and seamless user experience,” said Chiranjeev T.K.. “Jamf’s investment in local data residency represents a significant step for organizations operating in highly regulated industries.”

The launch marks Jamf’s first dedicated high-compliance cloud environment in the Asia-Pacific region and reflects the company’s broader strategy to expand localized compliance infrastructure globally.
