As we all are aware that there is a national lockdown to help contain COVID-19 and in this regard, all educational institutes are closed. This is the time where a media student can learn many things by following the govt guidelines of lockdown. First of all social distancing, use of sanitizers and masks, washing the hands and to stay safe is the key thing which is to be done by everyone.

Here are some tips for media students that they can do at present time and which will help them in future.

Read newspaper: Develop a habit of reading newspaper daily which will help you to know how what is happening around. Besides, reading of newspaper will help you to know the style of writing news. It is advisable to read at least two English and two hindi dailies daily.

Start writing: Develop a habit of writing articles, news stories, features, dairies, review etc. This is the crucial time when you can improve your writing skills.

Start Giving your opinion: If you are reading newspaper, watching TV and writing then automatically you will start making your opinion on current issues. You can share your opinion with your friends or teachers. But here please be careful your opinion don’t hurt anybody’s religious sentiments, disrespect an individual or government and create a rumour. Your opinion should be fair.

Keep a routine: Make a fix routine and follow this. Give time to meditation, yoga and exercises.

Staying home and following social distancing recommendations may be  inconvenience, but it’s the only best way to protect yourself, your family, friends and neighbours. If anyone in your family, friend circle and society  starts showing some symptoms of COVID-19, then call doctor.
