Indore, November 04th, 2025: SVKM’s NMIMS Indore, in collaboration with EHIS, successfully hosted the MU20 Opportunity Summit 2025 – Asia’s biggest high school leadership conference. Organised by the MU20 School of Opportunity in association with AFS India and BSAI, the three-day event drew over 2,000 attendees, including 1600+ students from over 100 globally renowned schools.
Transforming the NMIMS Indore campus into a vibrant hub of innovation and learning, the summit encouraged students to discover, explore and launch pathways into emerging careers and industries through a wide array of engaging activities.
The event, which took place from October 31 to November 2 at Emerald Heights International School and the NMIMS Indore campus, included Chief Guest, Mr Aakash Chaudhry, a renowned educationist, Shri Akhilesh Rathi, Mentor, NMIMS Indore, Shri Arvind Banthia, Mentor, NMIMS Indore and Shri Ajay Bankda, Mentor, NMIMS Indore, along with members of the MU20 Advisory Board.
The opening day featured several exciting programs, including the ‘Impact Challenge’, which focused on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the UN in 2015 and encouraged teams to propose innovative solutions to global sustainability challenges, enhancing teamwork and critical thinking skills. The MUN Committees also held debates on digital divide, global migration, security and more across UN committees and Indian parliamentary forums.
Among the highlights of the various events and workshops was the ‘Entrepreneurship Challenge’, which unleashed the participants’ creativity and honed their business skills.
‘Cultural Walk’ celebrated India’s diversity, youth energy and unity with students donning regional attire from across the nation. The ‘Theatrics Challenge’, in partnership with Whistling Woods International, provided young performers with a stage where they could display their creativity, artistic expression, and storytelling. MU 20X Talks empowered students to share their stories, ideas and experiences in partnership with Josh Talks.
Reflecting on the event’s success, Shri Arvind Banthia, Mentor, NMIMS Indore, stated, “It has been an honour to welcome students from top schools across India and abroad. The summit concluded with the ‘MU20 Carnival,’ featuring music, dance, and culinary delights, a fitting finale to three days of learning, creativity, and connection.
