Jaipuria Institute of Management Advances Faculty Development Agenda Aligned with NEP 2020 and AI-Enabled Learning

New Delhi, June 1 : As higher education institutions adapt to the expectations of NEP 2020 and the growing role of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning, Jaipuria Institute of Management brought together faculty members, academic leaders and professional staff from its campuses in Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur and Indore for the “One Jaipuria Staff Development Programme”. The multi-campus initiative focused on faculty capability building, institutional learning and academic leadership in a rapidly changing management education environment.

The programme centered around the theme “Empower to Excel,” reflecting Jaipuria Institute of Management’s focus on building a Student First, AI-Native and Career Ready learning ecosystem. Discussions examined how faculty roles are evolving amid AI adoption, outcome-based learning frameworks and changing industry expectations, while creating a platform for cross-campus exchange on academic innovation and student readiness.

 
The event commenced with an address by Mr. Shreevats Jaipuria, Vice Chairman, Jaipuria Institute of Management and Seth M.R. Jaipuria Group, who spoke about strengthening institutional readiness, academic quality and student-focused learning as management education responds to technological change, shifting workplace expectations and emerging industry requirements.
 
As management education responds to rapid shifts in technology, industry requirements and learner expectations, faculty development is becoming central to classroom innovation, curriculum delivery and student outcomes. The programme focused on helping educators adapt to these changes while strengthening academic quality across campuses.
 
Academic sessions explored themes including artificial intelligence, communication, leadership and storytelling. Participants attended sessions such as AI for Everyday Excellence and The Art of Storytelling, led by Dr. Subhajyoti Ray, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, NoidaDr. Shiva Kakkar, Vice President – Artificial Intelligence, Jaipuria Institute of Management, and communication expert Monika Tandon.
 
The Campus Improvement Hackathon encouraged participants to develop practical ideas aimed at improving institutional effectiveness, student engagement, academic processes and cross-campus collaboration.
The gathering also examined aspects of professional and personal well-being through discussions on parenting, work-life balance and financial awareness. Sessions on parenting, mental well-being, work-life balance and financial awareness examined the relationship between personal well-being and professional effectiveness in academic leadership roles.
 
Team-building exercises focused on collaboration, trust-building and stronger engagement across campuses, reinforcing the institute’s emphasis on shared institutional culture and collective problem-solving.
 
Several discussions during the programme reflected broader shifts taking place under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, including increased focus on faculty development, multidisciplinary learning, technology-enabled education and institutional capacity building.
 
With campuses in Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur and Indore, Jaipuria Institute of Management continues to invest in faculty capability, industry engagement and academic innovation as it strengthens its position as a future-ready management institution.
