New Delhi, May 11: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Monday announced major investment plans in renewable energy and digital infrastructure, highlighting the company’s commitment to supporting India’s clean energy and technology ambitions.

Speaking at the CII Annual Business Summit 2026, Adani said the group has already commissioned 35 per cent of its 30-gigawatt renewable energy project at Khavda in Gujarat, which is expected to become the world’s largest single-site renewable energy plant.
He stated that the group’s total investment commitment towards the energy transition has reached 100 billion dollars.
Adani also announced large-scale expansion in the data centre business, including a partnership with Google to develop a gigawatt-scale data centre campus in Visakhapatnam. Companies such as Microsoft, Flipkart, and Uber are also partnering with the group for digital infrastructure requirements.
The Adani Group recently committed an additional 100 billion dollars towards data centre expansion, aiming to strengthen India’s digital infrastructure and AI ecosystem.
Adani further said the Adani Foundation has committed Rs 60,000 crore towards education, healthcare, skilling, and community development, with a growing focus on AI-based training initiatives.
He emphasised that the future of AI should focus on empowering people and creating opportunities through infrastructure, technology, and skill development.
