Medan (Indonesia), 29th October 2025: WOG Technologies, a global leader in integrated water, wastewater, and renewable energy management, exhibited its next-generation end-to-end water and waste solutions at the Palm Oil Equipment & Tech Expo 2025 (PALMEX), the only specialized palm oil event in Asia, held in Medan, Indonesia.
During the 15th edition of the three-day event, WOG Technologies showcased its comprehensive range of waste, wastewater, and waste-to-energy solutions, effectively demonstrated how integrated systems in the palm oil industry can reduce operational costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure environmental compliance.
The array of technologies showcased at the event included anaerobic digesters, which are used to convert palm oil mill effluent (POME) and industrial residues into renewable energy sources. The technology helps break down the organic matter in POME and residues without oxygen to produce biomethane, a cleaner and more sustainable alternative to natural gas. It not only reduces the industry’s waste generation but also supports its transition towards carbon neutrality.
WOG’s innovative and advanced technologies were the highlight of the event, drawing the attention of industry leaders and experts present at the venue. There was notable curiosity among participants about how resource recovery and recycling drive circularity and streamline processes.
