By regularly hosting placement initiatives and industry-oriented programs, the university contributes to building a skilled and job-ready workforce in the region.
The Rojgar Mela aims to bring together a diverse pool of candidates including final-year students, fresh graduates, ITI diploma holders, and early job seekers from Khandwa and nearby regions. With companies conducting on-the-spot interviews and evaluations, the event creates a direct channel between employers and potential talent. It aims to facilitate meaningful employment opportunities while encouraging youth to engage with real-world hiring processes and industry expectations.
With over 20 companies participating, the Rojgar Mela brings together a diverse mix of employers committed to offering meaningful job opportunities across sectors. Top recruiters include ICICI Bank, Jana Small Finance Bank, Caresoft, Technotask Business Solutions, PayTm, Navabharath Fertilisers, Westside, Spectrum Talent Management, Magnum BPO and many others, providing candidates with access to a broad spectrum of roles and industries.
Speaking about the Rojgar Mela, Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Director of AISECT Group of Universities, said, “Employment ecosystems in smaller towns require platforms that not only connect candidates to jobs but also expose them to the rhythm of industry expectations. A Rojgar Mela of this nature serves as a critical touchpoint where aspiration meets structure, and access meets preparedness. It reflects the kind of decentralised, skills-oriented approach India needs to strengthen its workforce from the ground up.”
By facilitating direct engagement between employers and candidates, the Rojgar Mela reflects a growing recognition of the need for accessible, region-specific hiring platforms. As the employment landscape continues to evolve, initiatives like this aim to create a space for meaningful participation while grounding the conversation in local opportunity and workforce readiness.
