Mr. Saakar S. Yadav is the visionary founder of Lexlegis.AI, a pioneering AI-driven legal solutions research firm in India. Lexlegis.AI specializes in legal research, tax law analysis, data processing services, and e-filing solutions, hosting the country's largest repository of judgments and appeals. With over 25 years of deep domain expertise, Mr. Yadav has been instrumental in integrating cutting-edge technology for faster and more efficient legal research. His proficiency in legal and tax search processes and document handling has been pivotal in resolving complex legal issues. He is a frequent speaker at various government seminars on tax and compliance, sharing his insights with a broad audience.
Inspired by his father, the late Shri S. C. Yadav (IRS Retd Chief Commissioner of Income Tax and Vice Chairman of the Settlement Commission), Mr. Yadav embarked on a mission to create India’s largest database of judgments. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become Lexlegis.AI, revolutionizing legal research with AI.
Before founding Lexlegis.AI, Mr. Yadav led the Central Data Processing Center (CDPC) of the National Judicial Reference System (NJRS), managing and building the world's largest repository of appeals for the Government of India. He is also a technology enthusiast, farmer, investor, politician, and teacher. A self- taught technocrat, Mr. Yadav has developed several groundbreaking products, including myITreturn, TeamNest, and e-TDS, widely adopted by both corporate and government organizations. Notably, he managed over 1 million tax filers on myITreturn.com and created a data analytics platform crucial to the GST pilot rollout. Both myITreturn and IsEqualTo are winners of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat App award, recognized by the Prime Minister and awarded by the Government of India.
Mr. Yadav is also a published author. His book, Success = You, written for children and youth, was part of an auction for leprosy patients in Bihar, alongside iconic titles like Kane and Abel by Jeffry Archer. A remarkable entrepreneur, technologist, and visionary, Mr. Yadav has significantly contributed to the field of information technology. In 2001, he made history by launching PC Slate, India first Tablet PC, revolutionizing technology interaction and laying the foundation for future advancements.
Mr. Yadav is a trained pilot and National Defense Academy (NDA) graduate. He is often found teaching at a school, playing cricket at the racecourse, instructing kids on the ‘banana kick’ in football, mentoring startups, or visiting friends' offices to help them automate their systems. On weekends, he writes poems, attends airplane flying classes, or enjoys his passion for farming as an active farming enthusiast.
