On the National Mall, Champion Homes unveiled the New Horizon and the New Frontier, attainable, offsite-built homes that highlight the company’s commitment to building the affordable homes Americans need now. The homes are presented as part of Manufactured Housing Institute’s (MHI) Homes on the Hill, where policymakers and housing industry professionals are invited to tour the homes on September 22-24, 2026.

This three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 1,700-square-foot model is Champion’s innovative, two-story manufactured home built to the HUD Code. It features a removed second-floor chassis and is designed for vertical construction in narrow urban infill lots. As land prices are increasingly becoming a barrier to homeownership, the New Horizon’s efficient design helps lower costs for builders, buyers and renters, offering a unique solution for attainable housing.
The New Frontier by Champion Homes delivers the curb appeal homeowners want and the affordability they need. Superior design meets attainable homeownership with this three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,750-square-foot manufactured home. From the inside out, the New Frontier showcases the in-demand features homeowners are looking for, including a primary suite and an open concept floorplan.
