Panaji, Goa  July 09: Reinforcing its commitment to expanding its presence in one of India’s most dynamic and fastest-growing travel markets, the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, will participate in the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Kolkata 2026, from 10–12 July at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata. The Goa delegation will be led by Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Government of Goa, who will engage with travel trade partners, investors, airlines, media and tourism stakeholders from across Eastern India.

As Goa continues its transformation into a premium, sustainable and year-round destination, TTF Kolkata provides an important platform to strengthen tourism partnerships with West Bengal and neighbouring states, while showcasing the state’s evolving tourism offerings beyond its iconic coastline.

This year, Goa Tourism will present a comprehensive portfolio of experiences that reflect the state’s vision of “Goa Beyond Beaches”, including monsoon tourism, hinterland exploration, heritage and cultural experiences, wellness retreats, luxury hospitality, regenerative tourism etc.

Speaking ahead of the event, Shri Rohan A. Khaunte,  Minister for Tourism, Government of Goa, said: We believe Eastern India is one of Goa’s most important and fastest-growing tourism markets. Travellers from this region are increasingly seeking authentic, immersive and year-round experiences, and Goa is well positioned to meet these evolving preferences. Through our participation at TTF Kolkata, we aim to strengthen partnerships with the global travel trade, engage with key stakeholders and showcase the many dimensions of Goa that extend beyond its beaches—from our vibrant culture and heritage to wellness, spirituality, gastronomy and sustainable tourism. Our focus remains on creating high-value tourism that benefits local communities while offering visitors meaningful and memorable experiences.”

The Goa Pavilion will offer visitors and trade professionals an immersive experience through destination presentations, interactive engagements, curated itineraries and information on new tourism products designed to encourage repeat visits and longer stays. The Department will also promote Goa’s monsoon experiences, showcasing the state’s lush landscapes, waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries, local festivals and culinary traditions that make the season one of the most rewarding times to visit.
