HR Professionals Must Embrace Technology to Stay Ahead: Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy

Hyderabad, April 12, 2025 – The HR Committee of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) organized an HR Conclave and presented the HR Excellence Awards during a day-long program held at Radisson Blu, Banjara Hills in on Friday

Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman and Board Member of CYIENT, and a stalwart of the Indian IT industry, was the Chief Guest and delivered the keynote address.

“Technology has changed the way we work, our workplaces, and how we engage. What once took decades to achieve is now happening in days. For example, ChatGPT reached 600 million users in just 30 days, and Indians consume 2.5 billion hours of social media daily,” Dr. Reddy noted.

He emphasized that HR professionals must integrate technology into the Four Rs of Human Resources—Recruit, Reward, Retain, and Retrain.

“Degrees don’t matter as much anymore. Skills are the need of the hour. HR is now about employee engagement, wellness, diversity, and inclusivity. Employers must become innovators, and HR professionals must be proactive participants in change. Don’t wait for disruption—be the disruptors,” he urged.

Sri Kiran Voleti, People Analytics Lead – APAC & CGBS, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd, spoke on HR Analytics and Leveraging AI in HR, while Dr. V.N. Kantha Rao, Organizational Change Consultant and Member of the Academic & Planning Council, ISABS, addressed the Generational Shift in HR Management.

Sri L.V. Subramanyam, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, was the Guest of Honour.

Sri Gaddam Vamsi Krishna, Member of Parliament, Peddapalli, graced the HR Awards function as the Chief Guest and presented the HR Excellence Awards.

Dr. Suresh Kumar Singhal, President of FTCCI, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the growing importance of technological integration in HR.
