As part of the preventive measures, authorities have directed employers and contractors to ensure adequate drinking water, shaded rest areas, and periodic breaks for workers during working hours. The initiative aims to minimise the risk of heatstroke, dehydration, and other heat-related health complications, particularly among vulnerable labourers exposed to extreme weather conditions.
