When Amit Gupta, a new-age technology specialist, with deep experience in a cloud technology environment, both in the US and India, chose to take up the entrepreneurial journey, it was little wonder. Along with a technologist Athreya Ramadas, Amit founded Rapyder Cloud Solutions in 2017, a cloud-tech consulting company and an advanced AWS partner. The organization specializes in cloud migration, digital transformation, and ongoing managed services, in addition to product development. Within a few minutes of talking to Amit, one can recognize his keen interest and passion towards his work in the new-age technology space.
Amit who has exhibited multiple leadership capabilities during his past tenure, is today spearheading Rapyder as its CEO and leads the team in driving Rapyder’s brand and value proposition. He is also closely involved in the delivery strategy and operations besides business growth. Amit has a successful career life spanning over 23 years with rich experience of holding key positions in the technology and management domains. His expertise, experience, and passion in architecting, strategizing, and executing cloud and digital transformation projects has helped his team at Rapyder foster high-level competencies. The organization’s repeatable good performance is the foundation of its fast growth year after year.
Prior to this, Amit was on the founding team of Intelligentsia IT Systems, a born-in-the-cloud company, which was into software solutions, and staffing. He headed the organization as its MD and CEO. At the software solutions arm, Spocto a socially relevant data mining and data analytics platform, Amit played the role of defining the technology strategy too, before he sold his shares in Intelligentsia to start Rapyder.
Earlier, Amit worked in leadership and technological roles at Misys, where he managed a hybrid team with diverse skillsets across software development, besides working closely with strategic teams in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
Amit was the VP, of Product Management at Rate Gain, a company in the travel domain, prior to his role at Misys. He brought in deep insights and domain knowledge to his role here, which contributed significantly to the organization’s growth. RateGain is today, the No. 1 provider of SaaS products in the brand and hospitality domain.
In the US, Amit was a founding team member and CTO, of Paradigm Applications LLC, a start-up which was into building eGov solutions ground up, before Amit exited from his role.
Amit’s rapport with customers helping them strategize digital transformation and solve complex technological problems has earned him a constant flow of new clients.
