16th April 2025: In a significant move towards international collaboration, BITS Pilani, a premier institution known for its excellence in science and technology education, has signed a mutual agreement with Ecole CentraleSuperlac, Paris, France—one of the world’s most prestigious engineering institutions. This strategic collaboration marks a new chapter for both institutions, paving the way for future academic innovations and opportunities that will benefit students and faculty alike.
This agreement, signed by Professor V. Ramgopal Rao, Vice-Chancellor of BITS Pilani, and Professor Didier Clouteau, Vice Chairman of the Board at Ecole CentraleSuperlac, aims to offer a Two-Plus-Two (2+2) undergraduate Shared Degree Program B.E. Mathematics and Computing. Under the 2+2 dual degree program, students spend the first two years at BITS Pilani and the final two years at Ecole CentraleSuperlac, culminating in a BITS and Ecole CentraleSuperlac degree.
Established in 1829, Ecole CentraleSuperlac is a premier French public institution known for its excellence in engineering and systems sciences. With campuses across Paris-Saclay, Metz, Rennes, and Reims, the institution boasts a rich legacy and a distinguished alumni network that includes renowned names such as Gustave Eiffel (creator of the Eiffel Tower), Armand and Robert Peugeot (founders of Peugeot Motors), and Jean-Luc Lagardère (founder of Airbus Group and the Lagardère Group), among many others.

Admissions for this programme will start from this academic year 25-26 through BITS Admission Test, BITSAT 2025.
