India Leads Global Workplace AI Adoption with 41 pc Daily Usage: Report

New Delhi, May 19: India has emerged as a global frontrunner in workplace artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, with nearly 41 per cent of professionals using AI tools on a daily basis, according to a recent report.

The findings highlight how AI is rapidly becoming part of everyday work routines across Indian organisations, helping employees with tasks such as content creation, data analysis, communication, and productivity enhancement.

The report attributes this strong adoption rate to India’s expanding digital ecosystem, tech-enabled workforce, and growing familiarity with emerging technologies.

AI usage is increasingly being seen across multiple sectors, including IT, finance, marketing, education, and customer service, where professionals are using automation and generative AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.

Experts also point out that younger professionals are driving this trend, as they are more open to experimenting with AI-based tools and integrating them into daily work processes.

Analysts believe this positions India as a key contributor to the global shift toward AI-driven workplaces, with adoption expected to rise further as companies continue investing in digital transformation and employee upskilling.
