Hyderabad, 13th September 2022: “Grand Ganesha Awards 2022” – Season 3 which is presented by Lions Clubs International Dist 320A & Department of Language & Culture (Govt of Telangana) in association with Telangana Tourism, initiated by Lions Club of Hyderabad Yuva, Patronised by “Ratnadeep” and Concept by Celebration Makers. This Concept is supported by GrandQueens Club & Haldi Sehra.
This award is done every year to analyze and understand the Cultural & Sustainable development in various Premium Gated Communities of Hyderabad. 32 such Gated Communities had registered themselves of which 20 Societies were shortlisted and awarded for various best practices that they have implemented in their respective society. 8 societies with a population of fewer than 500 Families and 12 with more than 500 families.

The Jury Members were: Lion Dr Ashish Chauhan, Dr Sagar Bhuyar, Dr Apeksha, GrandQueen Kritika Sharma, GrandQueen Jhanvi Bajaj, GrandQueen Sruti Mashru, GrandQueen Chhaya Sharma and Lion Anitha Gali.
For several days the Committee & Jury Members visited each and every Society, interacted with residents, and checked upon the various arrangements. The Cultural Integration of the Residents and the Sustainable practices were top on the list of the Panel.
It came to a conclusion with the Awards Ceremony held on 11th September 2022 at Club Botanika, Kondapur.
The Guests of Honour were Dr. Mamidi Harikrishna, Director, Dept of Language & Culture, Govt of TS; Sri Upala Srinivas Gupta, Chairman, Telangana Tourism; Lion Juluri Raghu, District Governor, Lions Intl Dist 320A.
The ceremony which was attended by the Committee Heads of all participant Gated communities had a lot of exchange of notes in their Best Practices on Livability Quotients. The results of the Awards were as follows:
Most of the Societies have realized that Grand Ganesha Awards is the only platform wherein they could learn from each other and have decided to continue this platform initiated by Lions Club of Hyd Yuva & Celebration Makers, for exchanging notes with each other and together contribute towards more culturally integrated and sustainable Hyderabad. We shall come up with many more initiatives to add value to the platform apart from Next year’s Grand Ganesha Awards 2023.
