Mumbai, Apr 08: Vietjet is enhancing travel options for Indian passengers planning trips to Vietnam and beyond this summer, with a significant ramp-up in its domestic Vietnam operations during the upcoming holiday period, along with special fares across all routes.
The airline is expected to operate nearly 3,800 flights across Vietnam between April 25 and May 5 – around 500 more than the same period last year – to meet rising holiday travel demand. This expansion will increase Vietjet’s total domestic seat capacity to approximately 832,000 seats, up by 130,000 seats, or 18% year-on-year.
For Indian travellers, this means greater convenience and flexibility when exploring multiple destinations within Vietnam as part of their itinerary. The airline currently connects key Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad to popular Vietnamese destinations such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. With increased frequencies across domestic Vietnam routes and stable international operations, the airline is well positioned to offer seamless connectivity for Indian tourists exploring destinations like Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and more.
The extended public holiday this year, covering the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the Reunification Day–International Labour Day period, is expected to be one of the busiest travel seasons in Vietnam, second only to the Lunar New Year (Tet).
To mark the holiday season, the airline is offering a limited-time promotion from now until 9:30 PM IST on April 10, 2026. Travellers can avail up to 20% off on Deluxe, SkyBoss, and Business fares (excluding taxes and fees) using the promo code SALE20. The offer is valid for travel until August 31, 2026, across the airline’s entire network. Bookings are available via www.vietjetair.com, the “Vietjet Air” mobile app and other sales channels worldwide.
Passengers are encouraged to book early and complete online check-in via Vietjet’s website or mobile app prior to arriving at the airport for a smoother travel experience during peak periods.
With its growing network and continued investment in fleet and services, Vietjet remains committed to making international travel more accessible and affordable for Indian travellers, while strengthening connectivity between India and the Asia-Pacific region.
