The recognition celebrates ARCH’s efforts in redefining fashion as a tool for environmental and social impact. With an innovative curriculum and a strong emphasis on sustainability, the college has been instrumental in promoting ethical fashion practices and shaping a new generation of socially responsible designers. Speaking on this, Archana Surana, Founder and Director of ARCH College of Design and Business, said, At ARCH, we are cultivating a culture where sustainability is not an afterthought, but a mindset. We are preparing students to become thoughtful changemakers, designers who care as much about the planet and people as they do about aesthetics.”

This year CASCA’25, themed “Driving Sustainable Transformation for a Resilient and Inclusive Future,” brought together leading voices from across the climate and sustainability space. The two-day conference featured 12 panel discussions, keynote addresses, and interactive sessions with over 100 speakers and more than 600 participants from various sectors including policy, industry, academia, and social innovation.

ARCH’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond academics. The campus incorporates solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in its operations—setting an example for environmentally conscious infrastructure in education.

The college also runs a Design Business Incubator (HubIn), which supports students in developing innovative, sustainability-focused business models that aim to create real-world impact. Through this initiative, students are encouraged to combine design thinking with entrepreneurship and social purpose.
