Mumbai, April 30, 2025: This National Brothers and Sisters Day on 2nd May, Sony SAB artists Garima Parihar, Chinmayee Salvi, Amit Pachori , and Aan Tiwari celebrate the beautiful bond of siblinghood that goes beyond just shared childhood memories. From being each other’s biggest cheerleaders to navigating life’s ups and downs together, these actors reflect on the lifelong connection they share with their siblings.
Garima Parihar, who portrays the character of Deepti in Pushpa Impossible, said, “My brother and I share a beautiful bond, despite the 10-year age gap between us. It’s a very mature relationship, yet we often find ourselves turning into kids around each other—sometimes silly, sometimes deeply caring. If he’s stressed, I do everything I can to lift his mood, and if I’m going through something he can tell just by my expressions. He’s like a second father to me, always protective and supportive. Now that he’s heartwarming to see his little one, who looks just like him! We still have our moments of pulling each other’s leg, we always make sure everyone around us is smiling.
Chinmayee Salvi, who plays the role of Sakhi Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, said, “ For me, a sibling is like a best friend, someone who understands your chaos and still chooses to stay. With my brother Omkar Dada, I’ve grown up sharing everything — from advice and dreams to silly crushes and fights. Over the years, our bond has only grown stronger. Recently, we bought a home together for our Parents, and that moment truly made me believe that dreams do come true. On-screen too, my bond with my brother Sheehan (who plays the role of Atharva) has evolved beautifully. We’re constantly pulling each other’s leg and sharing light moments off-camera, it genuinely feels like we’re family.”
Amit Pachori, who plays the role of Timmarasu in Tenali Rama, said, “Like many brother-sister relationships, my bond with my younger sister Tina has been a beautiful journey—from childhood filled with playful fights and whispered secrets under the covers to a deep, unspoken understanding that has only grown stronger with time. Over the years, we’ve stood by each other through ups and downs, building a truly unbreakable connection. I’ve always embraced the role of the protective older brother, while Tina, with her admiration and unwavering loyalty, has been my constant support. We celebrate each other’s wins as our own and offer strength during life’s tougher moments. With every passing day, our bond continues to evolve into one of the most treasured parts of who we are—a lifelong source of love, comfort, and connection.”
Aan Tiwari, who plays the role of young Hanuman in Veer Hanuman, said, “Saachi Didi and I love each other a lot—our bond is beyond words. We share all our secrets, and whenever she’s feeling low, I give her the biggest hug and try to cheer her up. I just can’t see her upset. No one can say anything to her in front of me! And she’s the same, she takes care of me like a second mom. She explains things. to me, teaches me about right and wrong, and always supports me. When we play together, we fight sometimes, but we end up laughing it off.”
